Window Switcher
Introduction
Intro
The window switcher in OneMenu is highly customizable and powerful. On the surface and without any special configuration it works as you would expect.
Basic Usage
- Open the window switcher with
ALTTAB - While holding
ALT, pressTABrepeatedly to cycle through open windows. - Release to switch to the selected window or...
- Press
Qto quit the selected application directly from the window switcher.
The ALTTAB shortcut can be changed in OneMenu Preferences.
Tab Switcher & Search
Press ALTS (customizable) to open the window switcher in search mode.
You can search for any window or tab by title, and press ENTER to select it. Alternatively you can use arrow keys to expand any window to see its tabs.
App Compatibility
The tab switcher supports all apps that play well with the standard Accessibility API in macOS.
- All native apps like Safari, Mail, Finder and so on.
- All major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox and so on.
- Cursor, VSCode
- Many more apps...
At this point IntelliJ IDEA and other JetBrains products are not supported due to their hostile and non-standard implementation of the Accessibility API.
